    AIR FRANCE and KLM New Baggage Policy


    Effective 28th March 2010, AIR FRANCE and KLM is going to revise its baggage policy based on piece concept.

    Baggage policy:

    Current: Two different concepts (Piece concept or Weight concept) exist depending on the detination travelled.

    On/After 28th March 2010: Only the Piece concept will be used for all tickets issued.

    Weight of each bag maximum 23 kg - size: 158 cm (sum of three 3 dimensions).

    For each bag weighing more than 23 kg and less than 32 kg, a flat fee of 100 USD will be charged.

    • Voyaguer (AF) and Economy (KL) cabins: 2nd bag under the 1 PC allowance = 55 USD
                                                                                  Additional bags: USD 200 per bag.
    • In other cabins:                                                200 USD per bag.
      Get 20% discount on excess baggage charges for customers who check in online.

    >       Additional advantages on some long-haul destinations
    on more than 50 routes, e.g. to the USA and Canada, customers travelling in the Voyageur or Economy cabins will be able to check in a second bag free of charge.
